Fabulous food, great service - but the best part is the attention you get from the moment you hit the door. My wife and I decided late to go out for her birthday - on a Friday night. They graciously "squeezed" us in and it was a wonderful dinner - the special appetizer of cream cheese and goat cheese (warm and melty) with smoked fish was incredible! We had such a great experience, we'll be breaking our rule of a different restaurant during each trip. We'll be back mid-week! Keep up the great work! The Flying Fish Cafe is a must stop! We have enjoyed EVERY meal we have ever had there. We have discussed going down to Costa Rica a couple of times, and I guess as a Surprise to my Wife, I'd really like some more info on the place you have. We're returning to the Outer Banks in September this year and plan on making the Flying Fish our first dining experience of the week. I couldn't think of a better way to start our vacation.
